The Tyrant Act!

Wouldn’t it be lovely that when some mega corporation or individual uses their big monies to buy and influence politicians for the worst of the country, they could be hit with ‘The Tyrant Act’

Honestly folks, lets say a billionaire uses their monies to finance groups, riots, and push communism and the destruction of your country.

Tyrant Number 1

So the tyrant act kicks in automatically freezing every asset they own both foreign and domestic.

Tyrant Number 2

Immediately an investigation is opened on them and bang, they are now stripped of their wealth except they get a residual 10 dollars and must pay for their own legal expenses. Furthermore, their assets are up for paying those they hurt. Guaranteed these billionaires and millionaires or as I like to coin their real name ‘Communaires’ will never hurt your country again.

Now let us talk about the Corpunaires, like for example a certain large ‘electric’ company whose CEO instead of creating jobs is sending them out of your country as fast as possible.

They bring bad things to life!

Freeze company assets, serve legal notice to the CEO and Board Members freeze their ASSets too. Open up the ‘Sherman Anti-Trust’ act on the corporation and have at it. Break them up into smaller competitive companies, make the marketplace a fair competitive place for business and jobs to be created. Worked in the past, will work again. There is no reason when an individual or giant mega corporation has become so big it threatens people’s very existence and happiness to just stop these tyrants which is exactly what they are, or far worse. When you have a corporation starving your people out of work, making cheap crap because of the lack of a fair marketplace they have monopolized, finance the very destruction of your freedoms and push for slave labor, it is time to say no and GE ain’t the only one. Throw in other giant corporations and other Billionaires and Millionaires and there is now a need to protect us from the monsters and that would be a ‘Tyrant Act’ as a very first step.

Oh and while I am at it, don’t forget to throw in the Ass-kissers as well who run for example chambers of commerce like a fifth column against your well being for a quick buck.

Is that a name I see?

Broccoli Goes Out With The Garbage

Retiring in the vegetable bag, quitting being an edible vegetable, got fired on the grill, rumors abound!!! Anyhow, like old vegetables, this one may soon be gone and the sooner the better. Will anyone remember this old vegetable, I mean really? Maybe some historian looking for something old to talk about. Honestly I couldn’t care a crap what happens to this vegetable. Served us well, naw, just left a bad taste in my mouth, definitely harmed the eyes when watching it. I cannot tell you how badly my eyes watered and the thought that vegetables could be anything but what they are, boggles the human mind.

Waking up in the morning seeing a vegetable trying to have a brain which it does not was very hard. Like asking people on the street about water. Can you believe that, a vegetable begging for comments on water? I guess it fits to some extent after all, produce requires water, even when it is half way gone. I should know, I grow vegetables and fruit on my spare time, just ask a former KTTV employee about 4 bags of jumbo figs and she can attest to this.

Figs

See, here is the big problem reflecting on this sad case of a vegetable in this consumer’s eyes. The station morning schedule could have been fixed, GDLA reformatted, the news teams for afternoon and early evening fixed, the weather reporting on the morning news in particular beefed up properly. More production people rehired so we don’t see all the small miscues every morning. It could have been so much better instead of getting on the TV tube in front of millions of viewers and asking a member of the public about the water drought…IT’S DRY!

Or the Bullet Train to nowhere? IT’S STOPPED!

on and on the vegetable went, bashing Governor Brown while not fixing their own station problems and like a bad vegetable contaminated with Salmonella, hoping someone will eat it, that didn’t happen. Problems and morale at KTTV sank further and further, people suffered and while I am not blaming Broccoli for everything, as a consumer of its product I was treated to CRAP and that is why this blog exists today, not because I have ever met or known the guy personally (at the time of this posting) but because as someone trusted to enhance my viewing experience, he did not. I am a consumer of broccoli complaining about the rotten vegetable’s quality of taste which I am entitled to do when it went on TV and became a public entity that did little or nothing to improve the viewing product it wanted me to digest as a loyal customer.

Sig Hale!!!

19189474_BG2Kevin T. Hale

Well I have certainly been outspoken especially on the big cheese, but can you really blame his customer for complaining about his product? After all, one FOX KTTV personality asked if I would be verbally attacking their on the tube boss? Truthfully, I think KTTV could be tops especially in the morning hours which is where it is weakest, and no, I am not going to blame erhmmm, Kevin T. Hale for all woes. That goes to the Broccoliheads at Newscorp for making cheap and stupid decisions.

First just who are the KTTV viewers and viewers of TV in general, according to several insiders in the industry? You, me and the viewers, we are considered a commodity, that’s right, does that piss you off? Then who are the customers?

They think the customers are the paying advertisers. Does this begin to show all of you how very screwed up FOX and KTTV truly are? It does to me and I’ll be I am not the only viewer aka. real ‘Customer’ who notices this. The problem is that they have their theory all backwards. You, me, all of the viewers are actually the real ‘CUSTOMERS’ and the commodity is actually the advertisers who sponsor the shows and programming and I’ll again reiterate what I posted a while back in these blogs.

The ADVERTISERS=COMMODITY, TV VIEWER=CUSTOMER, do you think they realize this is true and here is why. The advertiser requires you to watch their product spot or commercial. FOX relies on you to watch their sponsored TV show hoping you won’t mute the commercial advertisement and that is clue number one to just what is wrong there. You have a TV controller and you can mute them. You can also change the channel or turn the TV off and even worse for them, forget they even exist, so in essence you are fully in control and it is you the viewer who is the most IMPORTANT CUSTOMER OF ALL!

Now that we got the theory end of it corrected lets go over what remains BROKEN in the morning at KTTV. If you  don’t know your viewer demographics, then you do not know who is watching, why they are watching, what time they are watching, what show they are watching. KTTV doesn’t understand this and so their programs remain broken and how do they fix it all? They blame it on their resource talents before the camera and also production as well. This fixes nothing! All it ensures is that things are still broken and that gets me to my dirty laundry list of the KTTV morning.

Let’s start with the weather. I recently pointed out that the KTTV weather is the worst, the very worst when it comes to morning weather and I am not blaming this on Maria Quiban either, not her fault. It falls to the weather producers. The map jumps from Burbank to Thousand Oaks, skipping a population center of 2.3 million plus and 35 miles distance. Every other station shows the heart of the San Fernando Valley at the Van Nuys civic center but not FOX. Every other station shows this.

Viewing times. I have been over this before. KTTV gives you 5 1/2 hours of mainly news every morning. Who watches news all morning long? GDLA is an extension of that, supposed to be an entertainment venue, instead its mostly news, sports mixed in (trust me, most viewers don’t care about sports) and then a few couch meetings and the rest a big mish-mash and again, I am not blaming the host and cohosts of the show. I blame the format and the viewing times which also tie in to the earlier news. None of it fixed, some things changed around, some major guests booked, but honestly the show is flat at best. It is a KTLA wannabe and it hurts me to make that statement but KTTV could be a lot better yet when someone honestly speaks up about what is going on, not only does it fall on deaf ears, but they botch it up even more in a desperate bid to raise the viewing numbers.

Yes, I realize that they get likes on Face Book or Twitter follows, but this does not a ratings sweep make. Care to see what I would have done? Search my blog archives about formatting GDLA and also realigning the news times for the morning lineup.

China’s Financial Collapse, what it might mean for you.

I hate to see anyone lose their life savings, home, their personal belongings, their family. I have ridden up high not at the top but up there way back in the 1980’s, jet setting around, working with big department store buyers, fashion models, attending gala parties, I know what the glamor is like, it ain’t bad at all. Of course when you are riding high you can never imagine what happens next in life.

I have been down lower than most can imagine, struggling and having a taste of the bottom. No, I didn’t do drugs ever, never smoked a cigarette, didn’t get into gambling debts, nor became an alcoholic. Instead it was financial and I know what it means to go hungry, not fun, quite depressing, a feeling that the train has left you behind and that you are alone. If there is one positive in falling low, it is that it humbles you more, makes you greatly appreciate whatever comes your way, causes you to want to fight for something better. You discover that many feel bad for you, but that few will really help you other than quick words of encouragement and worse yet, their pity.

So how does all this relate to China? Well, it relates to China relating to Wall Street in 1929. They are saying that China’s Stock Market is going to crash. That means that most folks there will lose what little they might have saved. The big people will lose as well, in fact they will lose quite big. The government there will lose. I read somewhere they said the communists will step in, I don’t think so this time, in fact this could quite well cause them to go one of two ways. Abandon Capitalism and free markets, kill off figuratively their Middle Class while the ultra wealthy flee, perhaps to the USA while it is still somewhat free or perhaps Canada. It’s hard to say what will be.

Then what does it mean to the US Gov? Trillions in debt holding liabilities as if the feds didn’t have enough going wrong already. Will those holding bonds being called in, hurt the USA? Probably, but there might just be one massive golden lining for the American citizen in all of this.

$$$$$$$$$$$ Corporate $$$$$$$$$$$

It seems that with that economy shot over there and most of the world going up in flames with other poor economies going bellyup, Islam on the march, there remains one last real bastion of labor long ignored, the American worker. A flood of industry and jobs just could be heading back here. Time will tell, but I have a notion a trend might occur here with China going down the tubes economically.

You know what KTTV needs?

They need a show like this and oh, by the way, I used to love watching this guy. Was very informative on California, its history, places and people. If KTTV were to send a reporter roaming with camera and Mic to visit the California outback each week, KTTV would have a hit. Call the show “Golden California Escapes” and feature these things each week.

Ms. Gina Silva

Perhaps Gina Silva, her bubbly personality and friendly family chuckle each week would delight viewers up and down the golden state. Here, let us view what worked and no longer is here.

Right now other than the usual violent night shows mish-mash or the reruns mixed with news segments, KTTV has little going. Throw in a dying American Idol or dance show and that’s it folks. Perhaps if Gina delivered a 1 hour show from California like the video segment educating us and fascinating viewers mixed with a bubbly personality, savvy, and brilliance, we would all have a show to watch. Not sure about all of you, but the glitter and glamor of expensive contestant shows and stupid series has run its mill with me on all the channels. Something like the show above is priceless and if you are glued to watching this show above or the one below, then you will realize what I am talking about.

Library Tower Downtown L.A.

and my favorite of all time.
